Taskforce Tangata Whenua Charter

Taskforce Tangata Whenua is an Online Group for Tangata Whenua staff and members of the Taskforce.

The purpose of Taskforce Tangata Whenua is carrying out the day to day business of the Taskforce, and providing input into Taskforce policy and decisions, in between face to face meetings, as a Tangata Whenua caucus group.

Taskforce Tangata Whenua was opened 5 June 2007 and will run indefinitely.

Membership and Roles

Membership of Taskforce Tangata Whenua is open to all currently appointed Tangata Whenua staff and members of the Taskforce.

The Taskforce Tangata Whenua Home Page shows the parts of Taskforce Tangata Whenua that can be seen and contributed to by members and non-members.

You are not a member of Taskforce Tangata Whenua. Membership of Taskforce Tangata Whenua is by invitation only.

The Owner of Taskforce Tangata Whenua is the Community Sector Taskforce. Taskforce Tangata Whenua is administered by OnlineGroups.Net.

Participation Protocol

By participating in Taskforce Tangata Whenua, members agree to the following.

• Write clear and thoughtful posts as described in the User Guide.

Participants in Taskforce Tangata Whenua are encouraged to carry out the following.

• Use the online group for all conversations and information-sharing associated with the business of the Taskforce, that is appropriate to only Tangata Whenua members and staff of the Taskforce.
• Explore and discuss effective online collaboration.
