- Administrator Required
We are looking for a part day multi-tasking Administrator to take charge of
many aspects of the administration of a small not-for-profit organisation
serving the needs of men (based in Ponsonby).
The position is 25- 30 hours per week, we may have the flexibility to
structure this position to suit the right applicant.
Our present office administrator is leaving us, so we are seeking a talented
replacement. The role is pivotal in our team of four, supporting the work of
the Trust in bringing men out of isolation and into community and this ideal
would need to inspire you irrespective of your gender.
Our ideal person is a warm hearted details lover equally at home with
databases and people, who has a cultural fit to our purpose. Probably you'll
consider life as a journey of personal growth, be passionate about community
development, have the capacity to make things happen and work with a team.
You will enjoy working with men and will be able to contribute to an office
culture of open communication and care.
This is a hands on and varied role. You will be an active administrator with
mature networking, data management and word processing skills using
Microsoft Office and would be happy to learn new computer skills. You will
be strongly proficient with book keeping and money management systems (we
use MYOB) and competent with data bases, able to turn your hand to
fundraising and research. You will be able to run an efficient office, deal
with front line telephone enquiries and support projects, and you will be
flexible enough to leap in and lend a hand where there is a need.
Our intention is to make this appointment after 16 September 2011 and we do
have flexibility in our process to accommodate the right candidate. In the
first instance please forward a CV to Brent Williams. All applications will
be treated with the utmost confidence.
Applications close August 31st 2011
