Work Programme - 2010
The work programme for 2010 is incorporated under each of the Strategies. Some of these initiatives are funded by government and others are funded independently.
Whakapumautanga/Sustainability
- Assist four communities to develop their Community Collectives
- Partner with the NZ Federation of Multi-Cultural Councils to implement the Tiriti/Treaty Partnership Project
- Develop a funding plan for the sustainability of the Taskforce
Hononga/Connected
- Continue to assist organisations develop and implement their 'Weaving Communities Together' projects
- Assist Community Collectives hold their inaugural regional forums
- Host a National Forum in 2011
Whakaaturanga/Informed
- Continue to communicate with the Sector via Te Whitau
- Conduct a survey on the usefulness of the information on the Taskforce website
- Conduct a survey on the usefulness of the Te Harakeke
- Host a Te Tiriti/Treaty conference in 2011
Rangatiratanga/Leadership
- Partner with the Research Centre and members of the Sector to develop the scope for a Funding Review
- Continue to support the Tangata Whenua, Community & Voluntary Sector Research Centre
- Idenitfy organisations whose infrastructure is built on Te Tiriti/Treaty Relationship Framework
- Continue to develop the Tiriti/Treaty Relationship Organisation Development Package
- Build the capacity of the Sector to deliver the Organisation Development Package
- Continue to provide leadership on issues that affect the whole of the Sector
