Sustainability / Whakapumautanga

Replenishment

One of the first tasks of the Taskforce was to replenish the Taskforce to its full compliment of members.  With the recent appointment of Kitty Chiu, Anna Cottrell and Pancha Narayanan to the Tangata Tiriti caucus this has been achieved.

Taskforce Infrastructure

To become a Sector-led network at local, regional and national levels, we need to develop an infrastructure that ensures the Sector is connected.  The Taskforce will develop a draft infrastructure for discussion with the Sector through local and regional forums.

Connected / Hononga

Community Collectives

The Taskforce continues to support the Sector being connected and working effectively together.  Stage Three of the  'Weaving Communities Together' has been finalised. We received 18 applications from a vast range of communities.  The Programme Management Team shortlisted and invited 8 organisations to submit their 'Proof of Concept'.

The Taskforce is pleased to announce that three organisations have been approved to progress their projects to implementation.  Details of those projects will be announced shortly via Te Harakeke and displayed on our 'Weaving Communities Together' page.

Regional Forums

The Taskforce will continue to hold forum to talk to the Sector.  There are seventeen (17) regional  forums planned for 2010.  Details of the forums will be updated on this website.

  • What's on and Where - any activities that are of interest to the Sector anywhere throughout NZ
  • Media Alerts - this is any information that is of interest to the Sector
  • Job Vacancies - Jobs that are available in the Sector
  • What's on Top - Major items that impact on the whole of the Sector
